We all love a good old barbeque feast and dinner. It has all the ingredients for a good time being good food, good people and a good atmosphere.
To me though, the most important aspect and factor of a successful BBQ party or outing is the food. Just think about it for a second, when you’re on your way to a BBQ outing with your family, what’s the first thought or rather the most recurring thought you have in mind?
“I hope the food will be good”, am I right?
At least that’s my most recurring though on the way to a BBQ outing. So if I’m having that thought then other people must be having it as well.
And that’s why you’re going to need some good recipes and formulas if you’re going to be hosting your own BBQ outing. So with that being said I though that today would be a good day to give you 4 reviews of the 4 best BBQ books in my opinion. These books will help you prepare the best possible BBQ outing you could imagine.
So here they are, in no particular order!
With a 5-star rating on Amazon, this grill and BBQ book by James Purviance is probably one of the best BBQ books out there, according to the people that is. Coming in at a price at $19 as a paperback version, this book is a great one to consider.
James walks you through everything you need to know when it comes to working a grill, making good food and preparing bigger meals.
With Weber’s Way To Grill you get all the need-to-know basics such as what temperatures you need to grill at, how to properly grill back ribs and so on.
James is known as one of the top grilling masters in America today so we’re safe to assume that he knows what he’s talking about. Many BBQ books teach you ways of grilling the contradict James’ grilling methods which may leave some people at a crossroad. I can’t really decide for you though, but I would personally recommend this book if anyone should ask me.
Here we have a so-called Barbeque Bible that, like Weber’s Way To Grill, walks you through all the necessary steps when it comes to grilling the right way. Coming in at a price of only $14 as a paperback version, this is definitely a bang for the buck kind of book.
This book is known for being very comprehensive and also interesting for the reader when it comes to learning how to grill like a master. Many of the methods and tips in this book are also very similar to those in Weber’s Way To Grill, which indicates that these tips are common knowledge.
In any case, this book was written by Steven Raichlen, a renowned grilling expert in America and has been awarded with numerous author rewards, such as a New York Times Bestseller. With this in mind, you can trust his tips!
Another book written by the ever-so-famous grilling expert, Steven Raichlen that takes on the promptly given name, The Barbeque Bible. It’s a fairly given name considering the amount of tips and methods Steven talks about in the book.
With over 900,000 copies sold, this book is definitely one of the more commercially successful BBQ books in today’s industry.
But the question then remains, is it worth the buck?
Personally, at $15 I do believe that this book has all the necessary ingredients for making you a grilling master yourself, and I’m not alone in having this opinion considering the amount of books sold and the 5-star rating it maintains on Amazon.
And last but not least we have an updated version of the grill master James Purviance’s bestseller, Weber’s Way To Grill. This new version, labeled Weber’s New Real Grilling, is a collection of new recipes and tips that James has gathered over the years, costing you only $14 as a paperback version.
Much like his preceding book, this one is a comprehensive collection of ways for you to become a grill master so that you can serve some of the most delicious BBQ meals your friends and family have ever tasted.
